We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to support the educational and developmental needs of students with complex learning and behavioural difficulties in a primary school setting.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers in an Early Years classroom environment, providing one-on-one and group support to students with SEN.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment
- Working alongside class teachers to adapt lessons and activities to meet the needs of children with SEN
- Supporting students in developing social, communication, and life skills
- Monitoring and recording student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents
Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous experience working with children with complex needs in a primary school environment
- A relevant qualification in special education or child development (e.g. CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare)
- Strong knowledge of various learning needs, physical disabilities, and behavioural disorders
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine passion for supporting young children in a classroom
LTF Recruitment Ltd is offering a competitive salary of £95-£105 per annum, commensurate with experience, for this challenging yet rewarding role.
