Job Title: Support Worker for Students with Complex Needs

Lambeth, London SW10 - £95-£105 per annum. Full-time position available, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to support the educational and developmental needs of students with complex learning and behavioural difficulties in a primary school.

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with Special Educational Needs, including Autism, Behavioural Difficulties, and Non-verbal.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies tailored to each student's needs.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers to adapt lessons and activities to meet the needs of children with Special Educational Needs.
  • Support students in developing social, communication, and life skills.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs in a primary or SEN school environment.
  • A relevant qualification in special education or child development is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of ASD, ADHD, ADD.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
