Business Strategy Lead

At J.P. Morgan, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Analysis Manager to join our Graphite Payments Transformation team as a Vice President.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will drive initiatives under stringent timelines and in a fast-paced dynamic environment, utilizing leadership and project management skills to partner closely with Operations, Product, and Technology teams.
Responsibilities- Define business requirements for development and commercialization of new product capabilities, ensuring alignment with operational processes.
- Articulate and document process flows, including customer interactions and operations intervention, to facilitate effective project execution.
- Cover functional and non-functional requirements, encompassing product features, operational needs, regulatory compliance, user interface, client reporting, sanctions, resilience, and scalability.
- Perform impact analysis to determine key business groups requiring technical or operational process changes.
- Partner with Product and Technology teams to define globally consistent platform architecture.
- Conduct gap analysis to assess the degree of change resulting from business initiatives.
- Collaborate with User Acceptance Testing teams to establish thorough testing strategies.
- Monitor initiative progress, identify potential roadblocks, and work with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely completion.
- Drive Operations readiness by documenting process flows, operational procedures, training, user entitlements, roles, and responsibilities, and establishing escalation matrices.
- Anticipate internal and external factors impacting global payment strategy and develop plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Strong commercial payments knowledge covering high-value SWIFT and clearing flows.
- Previous experience in banking and financial services.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and experience driving projects under this framework.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strategic thinker able to define future-state business models and drive execution.
- Able to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Self-motivated and tenacious, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Experience designing, delivering, and presenting executive-level content.
- Adept at working in matrix organizations and dynamic high-performance teams.
- Able to leverage the organization to deliver results quickly.
- Prior experience driving large-scale strategic projects.
We offer a competitive salary range of $175,000 - $225,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
