About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Trades Training Specialist to join our team at HMP Norwich. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and training services to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Developing Learner Pathways: Create personalized learning pathways for learners to achieve their employment goals.
  2. Training Delivery: Deliver engaging and effective training sessions to groups of learners.
  3. Learner Progression: Regularly review learner progression to ensure training meets their identified needs.
  4. Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans.
Requirements:
  1. Teaching Qualification: Level 3 Teaching qualification (e.g., AET / PTLLS/ CertEd).
  2. Assessing Qualification: L3 Assessing qualification or equivalent (desirable).
  3. Health and Safety: Health and Safety qualification at L3 or above.
  4. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in construction trades.
  5. Certifications: Successful applicants must undergo DBS or DS check and provide proof of Right to Work in the UK.
Estimated Salary Range:

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum
