About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Location Manager. As a key member of our housing operations team, you will be responsible for managing properties and supporting residents to live independent lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage properties and lettings, ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and meet the needs of our residents.
  • Support residents with a range of needs, including those with disabilities or mental health conditions, to live independently and access the services they require.
  • Work with external agencies, such as local authorities and care providers, to provide support and services to residents.
  • Manage the location's budget and service charge accounts, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ensure that the location is safe and secure, and that all health and safety checks and risk assessments are carried out in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders, to ensure that we are providing the best possible service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a housing or care role, preferably with a focus on property management and resident support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of housing law and regulations, including the Housing Act 2004 and the Equality Act 2010.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial transactions, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
