About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HMP Stafford, a category C Prison located in West Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain patient medical records to the highest standard and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure timely administration of medicines and analyze cost-effective prescribing practices.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to make a positive impact on the lives of patients.
  • Communicate complex information effectively and demonstrate empathy towards patients.
  • Share knowledge about pharmaceutical products, medicines optimization, and general health education with the team.
About You
  • NVQ Level 3 or above, BTEC or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Up-to-date with Continual Professional Development (CPD).
  • Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience.
  • General GCSE education or equivalent.
