About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Bioresources team at Severn Trent.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance on a wide range of mechanical Bioresources assets across multiple sites in Staffordshire and Shropshire.
You will have sound diagnostic and problem-solving skills, and be able to support us and our colleagues in fixing issues before they impact our customers.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on mechanical Bioresources assets.
- Completing multi-skill electrical training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Supporting Severn Trent's drive to improve safety standards across the business.
- Ensuring all activities are performed in a safe and diligent manner, with regular feedback on issues arising before, during, and after activities.

What You'll Bring to the Role
We're looking for a Maintenance Technician who has completed a time-served apprenticeship and has experience in fault finding on mechanical wastewater and anaerobic digestion assets.
You'll also have worked with process control systems and industrial equipment, such as mechanical drives, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems. A basic knowledge of industrial electrical installation requirements and standards, as well as an NVQ level in mechanical qualifications, would be beneficial.
A full UK driving license is required for this role.
What's in it for You
Working at Severn Trent offers a range of benefits, including a competitive salary, a generous holiday allowance, and a range of perks and rewards.
