Pharmacy Technician Vacancy

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HMP Stafford, a male prison in the West Midlands. This 12-month fixed-term contract comes with a salary of up to £31,545 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

HMP Stafford has a capacity of 753 inmates, with 45% over 50 years old. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. This position includes a comprehensive induction program, a competency framework, and opportunities for regional and national career development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining accurate patient medical records and adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinating the timely administration of medications and optimizing prescribing practices according to our health in justice medicines policy.
  • Providing expert knowledge on pharmaceutical products, medication management, and health education to support the multi-disciplinary team.
