We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to support the management of our collections at the University of Cambridge.

The Whipple Museum is home to over 8,000 scientific instruments, models, globes, prints, photographs, and other materials, making it one of the most intensively researched history of science collections in the world.

This role involves working closely with the Collections Manager to ensure the Museum's collections are managed according to Spectrum and Accreditation standards, and best practice in collections care. Responsibilities will include supporting teaching, research, exhibitions, and loans, as well as contributing to large collections management projects.

A key aspect of this role is providing wider access to the collections, ensuring they are properly stored and cared for, and contributing to the development of new exhibits and displays.

The estimated salary for this position is £27,500 - £31,250 per annum, depending on experience.
