As a Collections Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the operation of the Whipple Museum's collections at the University of Cambridge.

The Whipple Museum's collection comprises over 8,000 scientific instruments, models, globes, prints, photographs, and other materials, showcasing the rich history of science.

This position requires close collaboration with the Collections Manager to implement best practices in collections care and management. Responsibilities will include supporting teaching, research, exhibitions, and loans, as well as participating in collections audits and reviews.

A significant responsibility of this role is ensuring the collections are properly stored, maintained, and accessible for researchers, students, and visitors.

The salary for this position is expected to be around £26,495 - £30,291 per annum, based on experience.
