We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Shred-Tech, a leading manufacturer of shredding systems. This role will be responsible for collecting A/R accounts, coordinating with sales and service departments, rating and qualifying new accounts, and processing AR write-offs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to work in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable & Collections, proficiency in Epicor ERP system, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Collect and deposit cheques received and process cash applications.">
  • Coordinate A/R details and problem accounts with sales and service departments.">
  • Rating, qualifying, and set-up of new accounts.">
  • Processing of AR write-offs of invoices on account.">
  • Processing of intercompany transactions between Shred-Tech companies.">
  • Updating account reports for weekly and monthly reporting.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • ">
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance.">
  • 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable & Collections.">
  • Proficiency in Epicor ERP system.">
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and principles.">
  • Advanced computer skills - Microsoft Office.">
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize with strong organizational skills.">
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate tasks among several departments.">
  • Professional phone manner.">
  • Professional email writing skills.">

Compensation and Benefits

">

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide excellent company-paid benefits, including extended healthcare, dental, vision, and employee assistance program after probation. Our comprehensive benefits package also includes group RRSP with company matching after one year, safety boot reimbursement up to $150, and prescription safety glass program.
