As a Senior Revenue Accounting Specialist at Aveva, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high technical standards and accounting compliance across the group in line with IFRS 15. Your responsibilities will include reviewing large and complex contracts in accordance with IFRS 15, providing technical guidance and support to the local financial controllers and revenue accountants, and being responsible for revenue recognition policies and updates to the Group Accounting Manual.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS 15
• Review and analyze complex contracts to ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Provide technical guidance and support to local financial controllers and revenue accountants
• Develop and maintain revenue recognition policies and procedures
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement minimum controls in relation to revenue
• Ensure compliance with the Group's minimum internal control framework
• Represent finance on the Deal Desk, supporting commercial deal review
• Develop and update accounting policies where necessary for new sales offerings

What We Offer

Requirements:
• Experience with International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) 15
• Technical revenue knowledge within the software industry preferred
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or similar)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
