Medical Accountant Role

Cedar Recruitment Careers is seeking a highly skilled Medical Accountant to join our specialist team in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity for a Manager or Senior Manager with prior experience working with medical clients, offering flexibility to combine in-office and home working under our agile policy.

About the Role

You'll join a dynamic team of healthcare accounting experts, delivering top-tier accountancy, taxation, and business support services to a variety of medical professionals, including GP practices, private healthcare providers, medical partnerships, and sole traders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and developing relationships with your own client portfolio, attending client meetings and providing top-notch service
  • Reviewing accounts and tax computations, while overseeing and delegating work to junior team members
  • Assisting with the development and training of trainees, reviewing and refining their work to ensure the highest standards

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise working with the medical sector
  • Practice experience is essential
  • Salary up to £55,000 (dependent on relevant experience)
