The Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts is looking for a detail-oriented Exhibitions Production Assistant to assist with exhibition setup, installation, and maintenance. This role involves working closely with artists, curators, and other stakeholders to ensure successful exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the Exhibitions Manager/Registrar to develop and implement exhibition designs, including drafting design plans.
  2. Support the fabrication of newly commissioned artwork, working with artists and contractors as needed.
  3. Maintain exhibition galleries, including daily artwork and equipment maintenance, and assist with special events and programming.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Familiarity with exhibition design practices and construction techniques.
  • Excellent carpentry and woodworking skills, with ability to safely use power tools and specialized equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
