Older Adults Healthcare Director

As a Consultant Psychiatrist in Older Persons Mental Health at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, you will have the opportunity to lead the way in delivering high-quality care and support to our patients. Working closely with colleagues in our Community Mental Health Team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health needs in the community.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in assessment and management of older adults, as well as strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with community teams. They will also serve as Responsible Clinician for patients under Compulsory Treatment Orders and provide visible and clear clinical leadership to the mental health service.
A competitive salary of £83,154 - £141,510 per annum awaits the successful candidate, along with a comprehensive benefits package including flexible working arrangements, an NHS pension scheme, and generous annual leave allowance.
