About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Mental Health / Learning Disabilities to join our team as a Bank Registered Nurse. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work in various locations across Lancashire & South Cumbria.
Responsibilities
- You will have at least six months previous experience working in an inpatient mental health setting and will be able to demonstrate an understanding and knowledge base of mental health conditions and their treatments, recovery principles, and person-centered care.
- Experience of carrying out a diverse range of duties including the assessment, formulation, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of nursing care that is evidence-based, person-centered, and recovery-focused.
- You will also be required to attend and pass training in Positive and Safe physical restraint, enhanced life support, and moving & handling.

Requirements
- Registered Nurse - Mental Health / Learning Disability qualification
- Completion of Band 5 preceptorship programme
- On-going registration with the NMC
- Working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Care Programme Approach
