Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced Dysphagia Therapist to join our client's neurorehabilitation team in Lancashire.



About the Role


This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Dysphagia Therapist to work with individuals with complex mental and physical health needs, developing and implementing tailored communication and dysphagia therapy programmes.


You will have the chance to make a significant impact on people's lives each day, working collaboratively with therapists, nurses, and support staff to ensure holistic, person-centred care.



Key Responsibilities



  • Manage a caseload of individuals with complex mental and physical health needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored communication and dysphagia therapy programmes.
  • Work collaboratively with therapists, nurses, and support staff to ensure holistic, person-centred care.
  • Supervise junior team members, volunteers, and students.
  • Liaise with families and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.


What We're Looking For



  • Experience: At least one year of experience in managing dysphagia.
  • Skills: Ability to work autonomously while managing a diverse caseload.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with evidence-based practices and relevant assessment tools.
