Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Coding Team Lead to join our team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our coding team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and complete clinical coding within strict timescales.
Main Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and consistent clinical coding using ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications
Collect, collate, and code clinical information covering a wide range of specialties
Maintain high productivity and quality work standards
Liaise with line managers to confirm diagnosis and procedure codes
Regularly update managers and senior colleagues on deficiencies and ambiguity in clinical documentation

Requirements
National Clinical Coding Qualification (NCCQ)
