Job Summary
The Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Eating Disorders Community Services team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in promoting the psychological health and well-being of children and adults in our service.
Main Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing a range of highly specialist psychological assessment and treatment interventions for all ages in the Community Eating Disorders Service.
- Delivering clinical supervision to Psychology Assistants and Trainee Psychologists.
- Working autonomously within professional guidelines to provide high-quality care to service users.
- Contributing to specialist clinical risk assessments and complex risk management planning.
- Working compassionately with service users and carers to achieve identified goals and promote independence and well-being.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- Registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Postgraduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology or an equivalent Applied Psychology qualification.
- At least 25 hours of clinical supervision while working at a highly specialist level in a directly relevant area.
