Clinical Psychologist Eating Disorders Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Eating Disorders Community Services team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for promoting the psychological health and well-being of children and adults in the Eating Disorders team.
Main Duties- Provide a range of highly specialist psychological assessment and treatment interventions for all ages in the Community Eating Disorders Service.
- Clinically supervise pre-qualified psychology staff and provide placements and supervision to Doctoral Clinical Psychology trainees.
- Supervise and support psychologically based care and treatment provided by other clinical members of the team.
- Contribute toward specialist clinical risk assessments and complex risk management planning as part of routine clinical work.
- Work compassionately with service users and carers to achieve identified goals and to promote independence and well-being.

Person Specification- Registered as Practitioner Psychologist with the HPC.
- Post Graduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent Applied Psychology qualification), as accredited by the BPS.
- Receipt of at least 25 hours clinical supervision while working at a highly specialist level in a directly relevant area and in an increasingly autonomous capacity.
