Job Summary

We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Accredited Clinical Coder to join our team as a Band 5 Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent clinical coding within strict timescales.

Key Responsibilities

As a Band 5 Clinical Coder, you will be responsible for collecting, collating, and coding clinical information from a wide range of specialties. This will involve working with complex and sensitive patient data, using ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications to ensure adherence to national coding standards and local clinical coding policies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess a National Clinical Coding Qualification (NCCQ) and have previous experience in coding a wide range of specialties. You will also have supervisory and mentoring experience, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
