Job Title: Outpatient Clinic Support Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced Outpatient Clinic Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our reception team, you will be responsible for ensuring all out-patient reception areas are manned at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients, carers, relatives, and visitors into the hospital by acting as the first point of contact for patients attending the Trust.
  • Timely validation of patients' key demographics and information, accurately record the outcome of the appointment, and make return appointments as directed by clinicians.
  • Support the reception supervisor in identifying patients who are not ordinarily resident in the UK and payment of patient travel expenses.
Requirements:
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent experience
  • ECDL or equivalent
Salary Information:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £24,071 - £25,674 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
