North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Optometry Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in determining clinical diagnoses and developing treatment plans, as well as making appropriate onward referrals to other healthcare professionals.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals and community clinics.

About this role:

  • Determine clinical diagnosis and develop treatment plans.
  • Develop discharge plans and make onward referrals.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • BSc (Hons) Optometry or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with visually impaired patients and those with learning disabilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
