About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Band 6 Charge Nurse to join our team at Bluebell Unit, Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management to our nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and management to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement care plans in consultation with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies for individual clients.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in education and training opportunities to maintain and develop professional knowledge, skills, and expertise.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Requirements
  • RMN PIN
  • Experience post qualification
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act
