Key Responsibilities- Clinical Leadership
- Provide clinical leadership to a team of staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to Trust policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring that patients receive evidence-based treatment and support.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to ensure patient safety.
- Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure that they are equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
- Service Development
- Contribute to the development of our services, including the design and implementation of new care pathways and programs.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to ensure that our services are aligned with local and national priorities.
- Quality Improvement
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, including audits and service evaluations.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives.
- Essential
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current PIN.
- Desirable
- Experience in a similar role or setting.
- Knowledge of mental health legislation and policies.
