Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Green Lane Hospital, Devizes. As a Band 6 Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to Staff Nurses and Mental Health Assistants, ensuring the continuity of care for service users, and implementing Trust policies.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership to Staff Nurses and Mental Health Assistants
  • Ensure the continuity of care for service users
  • Implement Trust policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with multiagency services
  • Contribute to the development of the team and the service

Requirements:

  • RMN PIN
  • Experience in mental health settings
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act
