Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to our nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and the implementation of Trust policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and growth.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that our service remains at the forefront of best practice.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways and the effective management of patient flow.
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid PIN.
- Experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of mental health nursing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to lead and manage a team, with a strong focus on patient safety and well-being.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Mental Health Act 1983 and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
