About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Lounges. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control
  • Develop and implement effective kitchen systems and procedures
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction

  • Competitive annual salary up to £34,000
  • 40 and 48 hour contracts available

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef/Assistant Kitchen Manager
  • Excellent culinary skills, including food preparation, presentation, and safety
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of kitchen systems, procedures, and best practices
  • Ability to train and develop kitchen staff
