As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food quality and service standards. With a passion for real cooking, you will lead and engage the kitchen team to deliver great shifts, every time.

The Role

  • Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and service standards.
  • Lead shifts, ensuring the kitchen runs effectively and safely.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality ingredients, stocks, and kitchen standards.
  • Manage the pass to ensure food goes out on-spec and on-time.
  • Uphold 5* kitchen standards at all times.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience as an existing Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef/Assistant Kitchen Manager.
  • Ability to work with fresh ingredients and demonstrate good chef/kitchen skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to lead from the front.
  • Driven and relentless in delivering excellent kitchen and food standards.
  • Familiar with KPIs and making decisions in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Epic communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of best practice around rota scheduling, sales, and labour forecasts.
  • Ability to deliver training and recruitment for kitchen teams.
