About the Role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Chef to join our Regional Catering Team at Arena Racing Company and contribute to delivering an exceptional customer experience across a diverse range of exciting events.

As an Executive Chef, you will work under the direction of the Head Chef to deliver the culinary offering across all racedays at one of the region's most exciting sports venues. You will also be at the forefront of food development and delivery of our non-raceday events business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver an innovative food offer across the venue's retail, hospitality, and fine dining proposition.
  • Implement and adhere to the Company Food Safety Management System across all areas within remit.
  • Work with the Head Chef to manage the kitchen staff rota across all sites in remit, ensuring set cost targets are met.
  • Take personal accountability for food safety compliance, including ensuring allergen information is displayed correctly and teams are trained and briefed accordingly.
  • Be aware of and support the delivery of financial targets.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 food preparation (or equivalent)
  • Food Safety Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Proven track record in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service and commodities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Calm under pressure
  • Ability to act on own initiative
