PhD Scholarship in Brain-Computer Interface Research

In this fully funded 3-year PhD project, you will work on developing an innovative, real-time, and adaptive monitoring system that integrates seamlessly with MEG and EEG based BCI frameworks.

Scope of Work

You will be responsible for designing and implementing a personalised system that monitors cognitive and emotional states alongside physiological and behavioural metrics.

Skills Required
  • Strong background in neural interface research or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or MATLAB.
  • Experience with MEG and EEG data analysis.
Benefits

The scholarship includes tuition fees, a maintenance allowance of £19,237 per annum for 3 years, and a Research Training Support Grant of £900 per annum. Additionally, you will have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including neuroAI and computational neuroscience equipment.
