3-Year PhD Scholarship in Brain-Computer Interface

This PhD project offers a unique opportunity to work on developing an innovative, real-time, and adaptive monitoring system that integrates seamlessly with MEG and EEG based BCI frameworks.

Job Description

You will design and implement a personalised system that monitors cognitive and emotional states alongside physiological and behavioural metrics. You will also contribute to the development of novel algorithms for BCI signal processing and machine learning techniques.

Requirements
  • MSc or equivalent in neural interface research or a related field.
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python or MATLAB.
  • Experience with MEG and EEG data analysis.
Benefits and Salary

The scholarship includes tuition fees, a maintenance allowance of £19,237 per annum for 3 years, and a Research Training Support Grant of £900 per annum. Your estimated salary after tax will be approximately £15,000 per annum. You will also have access to state-of-the-art facilities and a supportive research environment.
