Fully Funded PhD in Neurotechnology

We are seeking a talented individual to join our research team as a PhD scholar in neurotechnology. This fully funded position offers a unique opportunity to explore the field of brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) and contribute to groundbreaking research.

The successful candidate will work on developing an innovative, real-time monitoring system that integrates magnetoencephalography (MEG) and electroencephalography (EEG) based BCI frameworks. This project aims to create a trust-enhancing, user-centric BCI framework that boosts both effectiveness and user experience.

The scholarship includes tuition fees, a maintenance allowance of £19,237 per annum for 3 years, and a Research Training Support Grant of £900 per annum. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in neuroscience, computer science, or a related field, and excellent programming skills.

The research team is led by Dr. Saugat Bhattacharyya, and we offer a vibrant and supportive environment for PhD scholars. Our School has state-of-the-art facilities, including MEG and EEG brain imaging equipment, neuromorphic computing resources, and high-performance computing infrastructure.
