Caritas Futures is partnering with a leading national Children and Young People Charity to deliver an Early Intervention Team in Worcestershire. We are seeking an experienced Key Worker to support children and young people who have been exploited or are at risk of exploitation.

About the Role

This is a 12-week full-time position with the possibility of extension, dependent on funding. As a successful applicant, you will work closely with a diverse range of complex young people, assessing their needs and developing strategies to reduce harm and promote resilience.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work with children and young people who have experienced or are at risk of exploitation, providing support and guidance to help them overcome challenges
  • To conduct thorough risk and needs assessments, identifying areas for intervention and developing tailored plans to address these
  • To maintain accurate records and contribute to multi-agency working, ensuring seamless delivery of services
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Paid experience working with survivors of substance misuse, youth work, women and children fleeing domestic and/or sexual violence, homelessness, mental health issues, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Child Criminal Exploitation
  • Relevant experience working with a diverse range of complex young people
  • Skills in risk and needs assessment
  • Administrative skills
  • Experience in multi-agency work

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
