**Role**: Young Person's Practitioner.
**Location**: Worcester, Worcestershire
**Salary**:£22,700 per annum.
**Contract/Hours**:Permanent, Full Time - 37 hours a week Mon -Friday 8.30-4.30 pm with occasional evening work to meet the needs of the service.

**A bit about the role.**
1 in 10 children in every classroom suffer from a diagnosable mental health disorder. The Blues is an evidenced based CBT influenced programme to support the reduction of anxiety & depression in young people using an early intervention model.
We deliver the Blues programme to 11-19-year-olds young people in schools, colleges and sixth forms across Worcestershire. This is a vital part of our work. We are looking for a motivated Young Person's Practitioner who is committed to supporting young people's mental health to deliver this service in Worcestershire. You will be part of a national programme across Action for Children's four nations.
**How you'll help to create a brighter future.**
- Delivering group work to around 500 young people as year as a team.
- Giving young people skills to manage their own emotional wellbeing.
- Working in partnership with schools and colleges.
**In the role of Young Persons Practitioner, we're ideally looking for someone who has**:
- NVQ3 or equivalent in youth work, working with families, childcare or another relevant field.
- Experience of delivering evidenced based programmes with fidelity.
- Experience of working with young people aged 11-19.
- A commitment to supporting young people's mental health.
- You will need access to a car for travel across Worcestershire.
