We provide a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people where every day is different. We provide them with a variety of new activities and experiences, promote positive friendships and provide emotional support. This role can be both challenging and rewarding and will require a high level of resilience and flexibility to be able to respond to the needs of the service.

The post holder would work as part of a team providing support to young people aged 16 to 18 in a shared semi-Independent Accommodation nurturing environment. The post holder will support young people to become more positive about themselves life events culture, future prospects and prepare them for living independently in the community.
- Creating a friendly and relaxed environment for the young people encouraging peer relationships, self-motivation, self-esteem, and independence.
- To play an active part and promote the participation of young people, in the decision-making process.
- To work with the young people to encourage their life skills to promote independence and get them ready for the next chapter in their lives.
- Provide a safe environment for the young people in our care.
- Good communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships.
- Be a good team player to provide a high level of support and achieve positive outcomes.
- Encourage the young people to be motivated and take part in activities, education, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records, files, log keeping and all other required paperwork and administrative requirements.

**Working hours**
We will discuss with you what hours you wish to work and what type of contract works best for you. We are extremely flexible and can offer 4 hours to 40 hours weekly work. Your shifts can include days, evenings, and weekends or if you prefer, weekends only. From time to time, we may also have night shifts. We will always communicate with you about shift patterns.

**QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS**:
1. Genuine passion for working with children and young people
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
3. Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively
4. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
5. Full manual UK Driving Licence
6. Right to work in the United Kingdom
7. QCF Level 3: Children and Young people’s Workforce / similar
8.Excellent IT skills.
9. Aged 22 or over.
