Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Children and Young People’s Support Service Worker. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by providing high-quality care and support in their day-to-day lives.

About the Role:

  • As a Children and Young People’s Support Service Worker, you will work closely with young people to understand their needs and develop personalized care plans that promote their growth and development.
  • You will provide practical childcare support, including attending to daily routines, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Your key responsibility will be to establish positive relationships with young people, act as a key worker, and empower them to achieve their goals.
  • You will also be responsible for managing challenging behavior, promoting emotional well-being, and working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a similar role or environment.
  • An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including sleep-in shifts.

  • A competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
