Job Summary:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be part of a team providing care and education to young children with special needs in Worcester. Your primary responsibility will be to create a nurturing environment that encourages exploration, expression, and learning through play. You will work closely with the Centre Manager/Deputy Centre Manager and other staff members to achieve this goal.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Create a welcoming and engaging environment for children.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with families and professionals.
  3. Conduct regular observations and assessments to inform teaching and learning strategies.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement activities that meet the needs of children.
  5. Provide ongoing support to parents/carers to help them understand and provide for their child's play needs.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and practices.
  • Qualifications in Childcare and Education (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
