We are working closely with a Local Authority in Worcester to support the appointment of a Youth Support Specialist on a 3-month contract, which may be extended at the client's discretion.

Salary: £15.76 - £19.84 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing positive relationships with young people and developing pathway plans in collaboration with them, while maintaining accurate case records.
  • Completing home and community visits to promote the best outcomes possible and provide practical, personal, and emotional support.
  • Attending meetings and working collaboratively as part of a team to improve outcomes for young people.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Successfully achieved NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People or equivalent qualification, or willing to work towards achieving this within 12 months of registration.
  • Significant experience of working with young people, either as part of a team or with partner agencies, and a proven track record of improving outcomes through delivering support.

Necessary Requirements:

  • Immediate availability or willingness to start at short notice.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS check.
