Job Purpose:

To provide expert support to the Facilities Quality & Compliance Manager in monitoring operational performance standards within hard and soft facilities management services. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out audits and inspections on both in-house and private contractors across all three hospital sites to ensure compliance against legislative and published guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor the quality of delivery of all in-house and contracted facilities services activities within Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust against National Standards and Trust Policies and Procedures.
  2. Provide data-driven insights to inform corrective action plans and drive continuous improvement.
  3. Conduct spot check audits on all services and audit records maintained by in-house teams and contractors.
  4. Serve as a point of contact for front-line service users and staff, taking corrective actions at an operational level.
  5. Provide administrative support to monitoring and facilities teams.
General Duties:
  1. Assist with monitoring performance of services in accordance with Service Level Agreements and external contracts.
  2. Ensure monitoring data is recorded and reviewed, and support auditing action taken.
  3. Raise issues of concern with the Facilities Quality & Compliance Manager and support implementation of appropriate action plans.
  4. Develop and maintain good relationships with clients, users, contractors, Facilities Services Management, and Estates Management.
  5. Support staff within the Facilities Management Team to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency in providing quality services.
  6. Contribute to measuring the outcomes of existing service delivery and the development of new standards.
  7. Provide support in special projects as required, such as waste segregation, recycling, and environmental initiatives.
  8. Provide administrative support to this team, including record-keeping, report typing, and filing.
  9. Provide cover to the Facilities administration team as required.
  10. Familiarize yourself with and adhere to Trust policies and procedures.
  11. Be flexible and work during normal working hours, as well as evenings and weekends, as needed.
