We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) Teaching Assistant to join our team on a supply basis in Academics Ltd.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children with SEMH needs, preferably within a school setting. They should hold a relevant qualification, such as a Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and adaptable individual to work full-time in a supportive and welcoming school community.

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with SEMH needs, adapting to their individual requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing one-to-one support to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Assisting in developing pupils' social, emotional, and academic progress
  • Working flexibly across different year groups, building positive relationships with staff and students

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with the teaching staff to ensure seamless integration of support for pupils.

A competitive salary of $25 per hour will be offered to the successful candidate, dependent on qualifications and experience.
