Role Description

As a Secondary SEMH Educator at the Educate Group, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs in a secondary setting. You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective lesson plans and strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching and supporting students with SEMH needs in a secondary setting.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective lesson plans and strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a new one obtained through the Educate Group.
  • Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in Wales.
  • Able to work flexibly to achieve a work-life balance.
