X4 Technology is seeking a skilled OutSystems Developer to play a pivotal role in providing support to market data spreadsheets for the hedging desk and migrating data from spreadsheets to an OutSystems application to streamline shipping operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance existing spreadsheets for the hedging desk and shipping operations, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement VBA macros to automate data processing tasks, reducing manual errors and increasing productivity.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to develop, implement, and migrate to the new OutSystems application, replacing spreadsheet functionality.
  • Test and validate the new OutSystems application to ensure it meets business needs, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Integrate real-time data feeds into OutSystems applications when applicable, enhancing data accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a developer or programmer role working on OutSystems applications, with a strong understanding of the platform's capabilities and limitations.
  • Proficient in OutSystems development, including designing and deploying applications, with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and VBA for advanced data manipulation and automation, with experience in creating complex macros and workflows.
  • Experience with SQL server management and real-time data is a significant plus, with the ability to design and implement efficient data architectures.

The role is based in the London or Gibraltar office, with a salary up to £90k and a comprehensive benefits package, including bonus, pension, and Bupa healthcare.
