Job Summary:

The Chief Human Resources Officer will play a pivotal role in leading and managing all aspects of HR for Valkyrie People Consulting. The CHRO will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring the attraction, retention, and development of top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and business objectives.
  • Lead all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring an inclusive environment for all employees.
  • Oversee performance management processes to drive employee productivity and development.
  • Partner with senior leadership to support organizational growth, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Ensure compliance with all UK employment laws and regulations.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee experience, retention, and career progression.
  • Manage HR data and reporting, providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Lead change management efforts related to HR policies and practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CHRO or senior HR leader, ideally with experience in a consulting or professional services firm.
  • Deep knowledge of UK employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in managing diverse teams and promoting a culture of inclusion.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CIPD) is preferred.
