About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our Community Heart Failure Team at Liverpool University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide administrative support for heart failure specialist nurses and consultants, working across acute, community, and virtual ward settings.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary team, providing rapid assessment hospital admission avoidance for patients with heart failure. The ideal candidate should possess proficient IT literacy skills and be willing to undertake additional training.

The salary for this role is £24,071 to £25,674 per annum pro rata, reflecting the trust's commitment to recognizing the value of our staff. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support for heart failure specialist nurses and consultants.
  • Undertake general office duties, including photocopying, filing, and distribution of documents.
  • Accept treatment referrals and allocate patient appointments and clinic schedules as requested.
  • Receiving and transmitting information verbally/electronically using computer/e-mail/fax.
  • Handling non-clinical telephone enquiries/queries from patients, GPs, and colleagues related to the service.
