Job Title: Composite Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Composite Design Engineer to join our team at Aeropeople Ltd. As a key member of our Mechanical Design Group, you will be responsible for designing and certifying composite structures for aerospace and other high-technology markets.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop aerospace composite and hybrid structures using 3D CAD software.
  • Produce detailed engineering drawings to define designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are met and projects are delivered on time.
  • Develop and implement certification/qualification plans, including QTPs and QTRs.
Requirements:
  • Education to degree/HND level in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • Demonstration of competence in the design of fibre reinforced composite materials.
  • Familiarity with aerospace composite design methodologies and best practice.
  • Proficiency in CAD systems, preferably CATIA V5.
  • Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work within a small team with a willingness to learn and adapt.
