Composite Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Composite Design Engineer to join our team at a leading Aerospace manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design and certification of composite structures or products within a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop aerospace composite and hybrid structures using 3D CAD software.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
Requirements:
  1. Education to degree/HND level in mechanical or aerospace engineering is preferred but not essential.
  2. Demonstration of competence in the design of fibre reinforced composite materials.
  3. Familiarity with aerospace or similar industry composite design methodologies and best practice.
  4. Proficiency in CAD systems.
  5. Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
  6. Ability to travel to sites in the UK for design reviews when necessary.
