Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Composite Design Engineer to join our team at a leading Aerospace manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the design and certification of composite structures or products within a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design aerospace composite and hybrid structures using 3D CAD software.
  • Work as part of an integrated project team to ensure customers' requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • An education to degree / HND level in mechanical or aerospace engineering is preferable but not essential.
  • Demonstration of competence in the design of fibre reinforced composite materials.
  • Familiar with aerospace or similar industry composite design methodologies and best practice.
  • Proficient in the use of CAD systems.
  • Good communication, report writing and presentation skills.
  • Willing to travel to sites in the UK for design reviews when necessary.
