Job Title: Aerospace Composite Design Specialist

Aeropeople Limited is seeking a skilled Aerospace Composite Design Specialist to join their team in Stevenage. The successful candidate will have an engineering background in the aerospace or automotive industry and experience in the design and certification of composite structures.

The role involves designing aerospace composite and hybrid structures using 3D CAD software, working as part of an integrated project team to ensure customers' requirements are met, and collaborating with the Mechanical Design Group Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop composite structures using 3D CAD software.
  2. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
Requirements:
  1. Education to degree/HND level in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  2. Demonstration of competence in the design of fibre reinforced composite materials.
  3. Familiarity with aerospace composite design methodologies and best practice.
  4. Proficiency in CAD systems, preferably CATIA V5.
  5. Good communication, report writing, and presentation skills.

The ideal candidate will be eligible to apply for SC clearance and hold a British passport with a minimum of 5 years' residency in the UK.
