Job Description:

Design and Develop Composite Structures

  • Design and develop aerospace composite and hybrid structures using 3D CAD software.
  • Produce detailed engineering drawings to define designs.
  • Work as part of an integrated project team to ensure customers' requirements are met.
  • Create certification/qualification plans including QTPs and QTRs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop composite structures for aerospace applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain certification/qualification plans.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education to degree/HND level in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • Demonstration of competence in the design of fibre reinforced composite materials.
  • Familiarity with aerospace or similar industry composite design methodologies and best practice.
  • Proficient in the use of CAD systems.
  • Good communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel to sites in the UK for design reviews.
